Click The Bell notifies you when your YouTube channels publish new videos or Shorts. You choose which formats to hear about, per channel. No account, no tracking. Click The Bell is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

Getting started

1. Tap Add your first channel and type the channel's @handle, or paste a link to the channel or one of its videos. A channel name works when it matches the channel's @handle.
2. Tap Add and allow notifications.
3. Use the two buttons on the channel card, Long and Shorts, to choose formats. Both on = everything.

FAQ

I'm not getting notifications

• Check that notifications are allowed: Settings → Notifications → Click The Bell.
• Check that Quiet hours (the moon button) is not active for the time you expected a notification. During quiet hours the video still lands in History, just without sound or banner.
• The channel must publish something new after you added it. Older videos do not trigger notifications.
• Open the app once. On launch it re-syncs your channels with the server.

How many channels can I follow?

You can follow 3 channels for free. Slots 4 to 10 can be bought one at a time as one-time purchases, tied to your App Store or Google Play account. On a new phone, tap Restore purchases in Settings.

What is Members videos?

A subscription that notifies you when your channels publish videos for the channel's YouTube members only, including early access. Turn it on per channel with the 👑 button on the channel card. To watch the videos you must be a member of the channel on YouTube yourself, which requires you to be 18 or over. Cancel the subscription in the App Store or on Google Play.

How do I remove a channel?

Swipe left on the channel card under Channels and tap Remove.

How do I get the widget?

Press and hold the Home Screen, tap +, search for Click The Bell, and choose Latest ding.

Videos open in Safari instead of YouTube

That happens when the YouTube app is not installed. Install YouTube from the App Store and links will open there.

What data does the app store?

Your push token, the channels you follow, your settings and the status of your purchases – never your name, email or payment details. See the privacy policy.

How do I delete my data?

From version 1.6: Settings → Delete my data. Otherwise: remove all your channels and your server data is deleted automatically after 7 days, or email us with the support code the app shows under Settings.

Hjælp til Click The Bell

Click The Bell giver dig besked, når dine YouTube-kanaler udgiver nye videoer eller Shorts. Du vælger selv, hvilke formater du vil høre om, pr. kanal. Ingen konto, ingen sporing. Click The Bell er ikke tilknyttet YouTube eller Google.

Sådan bruger du appen

1. Tryk Tilføj din første kanal, og skriv kanalens @handle, eller indsæt et link til kanalen eller en af dens videoer. Et kanalnavn virker, når det svarer til kanalens @handle.
2. Tryk Tilføj, og giv appen lov til at sende notifikationer.
3. Brug de to knapper på kanalkortet, Lange og Shorts, til at vælge format. Begge tændt = alt.

Ofte stillede spørgsmål

Jeg får ingen notifikationer

• Tjek at appen har lov til at sende notifikationer: Indstillinger → Notifikationer → Click The Bell.
• Tjek at Stille timer (måne-knappen) ikke er slået til for det tidspunkt, du forventede besked. I stille timer lander videoen stadig i Historik, men uden lyd og banner.
• Kanalen skal have udgivet noget nyt, efter du tilføjede den. Ældre videoer giver ikke besked.
• Åbn appen én gang. Ved start synkroniserer den dine kanaler med serveren igen.

Hvor mange kanaler kan jeg følge?

Du kan følge 3 kanaler gratis. Plads 4 til 10 kan købes én ad gangen som engangskøb, og de følger din App Store- eller Google Play-konto. Har du skiftet telefon, så tryk Gendan køb under Indstillinger.

Hvad er Medlemsvideoer?

Et abonnement, der giver besked, når dine kanaler udgiver videoer kun for kanalens medlemmer på YouTube, også med tidlig adgang. Du slår det til pr. kanal med 👑-knappen på kanalkortet. For at se videoerne skal du selv være medlem af kanalen på YouTube, og det kræver, at du er mindst 18 år. Abonnementet opsiges i App Store eller Google Play.

Hvordan fjerner jeg en kanal?

Swipe til venstre på kanalkortet under Kanaler, og tryk Fjern.

Hvordan får jeg widget'en?

Hold fingeren på hjemmeskærmen, tryk +, søg efter Click The Bell, og vælg Seneste ding.

Videoen åbner i Safari i stedet for YouTube

Det sker, hvis YouTube-appen ikke er installeret. Installér YouTube fra App Store, så åbner links der.

Hvilke data gemmer appen?

Dit push-token, de kanaler du følger, dine indstillinger og status for dine køb – aldrig navn, e-mail eller betalingsoplysninger. Se privatlivspolitikken.

Hvordan sletter jeg mine data?

Fra version 1.6: Indstillinger → Slet mine data. Ellers: fjern alle dine kanaler, så slettes dine serverdata automatisk efter 7 dage, eller skriv til os med den supportkode, appen viser under Indstillinger.
